Clients reviews about VMB Group - Basement Lowering Underpinning

We had a great experience with the VMB Group and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to waterproof / underpin their basement. Mike worked with us from the beginning to understand the options, pricing, timelines etc., and kept us up-to-date on progress using the Monday app. We started with a wet, dark basement around 6'2, and finished with a waterproofed, dry 8'3 basement and we couldn't be happier with the result. Nothing was over the original quoted prices, and everything was done quickly and on time. Note: two of the attached pictures show the before, and one is the after with the radiant floor heating installed, just before the concrete slab pour. ~ Simon M

Approaching the underpinning of our 70-year-old home was initially daunting, but the team delivered exceptional results that far exceeded our expectations. The worksite was meticulously maintained, the project adhered to the budget, and completion was achieved ahead of schedule. Tom’s outstanding communication and his prompt, professional responses to any queries or concerns greatly enhanced our experience. We confidently and wholeheartedly recommend VMB. ~ Pradeep N

We were very nervous going in to this underpinning of our 120 yr old home. However the team was great and we are happy with the outcome. Work site was kept neat. Work was completed on budget and slightly ahead of schedule. Vlad, Dmitri , Tommy and Mike communicated very well and responded quickly and professionally to any questions or concerns. We would highly recommend VMB. Jordy and Cathy Moulton Brampton ~ Jordy M

I had flooding in my basement with sewage water backing up.. Got in touch with VMB group and they set up my backwater valve. Dimitry was very professional and helped with the whole process including getting me the city rebate. The cost was very reasonable compared to competitors and the quality of work was excellent. I would highly recommend this company. ~ karthik t

Vlad and the team at VMB are the best of the best! They just finished a basement walkout for a project I have ongoing in Mississauga and two of my subcontractors and the inspector commented on how it was some of the best concrete work they had seen, and how they were fast, clean, and incredibly accurate! As a homeowner or general contractor I could not recommend them highly enough! ~ Simon B
